Our Fish

Here at #FISH we pride ourselves in both the quality and diversity of the products we source for our customers. We have now served nearing 100 different types of seafood since opening in 2020.

Our focus reaches near and far – from the best Haddocks in Scotland, caught off the Orkneys and, line-caught Cod from the seas around Shetland, to exotic species rarely seen on these shores. Always as fresh as can be.

And of course, our local ports and harbours, who though, have long since stopped landing white fish, supply us with amazing local shellfish, Lobsters, Crabs, and Langoustines to name but a few.

Our Environment

From the beginning, #Fish was formed as a company that puts the world and the local environment at the forefront of everything we do.

From the fish buy to the oil we use, all the decisions we make have the impact the store has in the world around us front and centre.

Did you know all our packaging is Compostable as well as recyclable?

Or that the reason we don’t sell products made by Coca-Cola is due to the 2 million plastic bottles that Coke produce ending up in the oceans that sustain the very product we sell?

Our Non-Meat Eaters

We pride ourselves in being inclusive as an employer but also in the food we sell, and from this idea has grown a very important part of the business. Did you know that 30% of our sales are actually Vegan? and that we are one of the biggest Vegan takeaway and delivery services in Edinburgh?

It’s not just Vegetarians and Vegans we cater for either, 12% of our sales are Gluten Free. And 80% of our menu is, or can be Gluten Free. Best of all, unlike most eateries we won’t charge you a penny more if you have any dietary needs, like excluding Gluten from your food choices.

Other common allergies are catered for too, we use no Dairy products in our cooking and there are no Nuts in the building. If you have other dietary needs please do not hesitate to speak with one of the team, who will be happy to help.
